Frequently Asked Questions
Fasteners loosen under vibration, thermal cycling and shock - even tight clamp load creep allows the thread to back off over time. Threadlocker fills the small gap between mating threads and cures to a polymer film that resists rotation.
Most general assembly uses Medium (blue) - it locks reliably and disassembles with standard install tools. High (red) needs heat to disassemble - use only where service isn't planned. The product page lists the published locking torque and breakaway torque values.
On a blind hole, apply to the male thread of the fastener and the female thread of the hole. Cure is faster in confined / dry threads.
Over-torquing a threadlocked joint can shear the bolt. The published lubricated-thread torque accounts for the threadlocker viscosity at install.
For safety-critical installations that need scheduled service, choose Medium grade with a published breakaway value matched to your install tool's rated torque.

Chemistry equivalents are matched to the Loctite series (222 / 243 / 263 / XS10) so trade installers can drop Ultraloc into specs that call out Loctite by number.
Range: Ultraloc's stocked range covers low-strength removable threadlocker, medium-strength blue threadlocker, high-strength permanent red threadlocker, anaerobic pipe and gasket sealant (XS10), and general-purpose cyanoacrylate (super glue).
Positioning: Loctite-equivalent chemistry at trade pricing. Suits general assembly, plant maintenance and field-service repair where Loctite-grade performance is required without the brand premium.
