Frequently Asked Questions
Resists water washout, won't attack rubber seals. NOT a thread lubricant - use anti-seize for fastener threads.
Less is more - a fingernail-sized dab spread thin covers an M10 fastener thread. Anti-seize and grease are bought in small pots because so little is needed per application.
Over-torquing a lubricated fastener can shear the bolt or strip the threads. Check the data sheet for the correct torque-with-lubricant value.
Periodic inspection of exposed grease points catches contamination and depletion before damage occurs.
