Under-set, correctly set and over-set nutsert cross-sections

Half hex open end rivet nuts have hex flats on part of the body that key into a hex hole to resist spinning, while the round lower section drops in more easily than a full-length hex.

WHEN TO CHOOSE IT

Choose half hex as the middle ground - more spin resistance than a round body, simpler to set than a full hex. Good for medium-torque removable fixings.
