MATERIALS AND FINISHES

Available finishes: Stainless Steel, Chrome Plated, Brass, Nylon, Galvanised.

GRADES, SIZES AND THREADS

Grades stocked: A2-70 G304, Low Tensile Class 5, Low Tensile Class 4.6, A4-70 G316.

Sizes: M10 (10mm), M12 (12mm), M8 (8mm), M16 (16mm), M20 (20mm), M4 (4mm), M5 (5mm), M6 (6mm).

Thread systems: Metric - Coarse, UNC / BSW - Coarse, Metric - Fine, BSW - Coarse, UNF - Fine.

STANDARDS

DIN 1587, ANSI, SAE J483 / HEC Standard, JIS B1183 Type 3, SAE J483.

Hex dome (acorn) nuts have a domed closed top covering the protruding end of the threaded fastener. They serve a decorative purpose, protect the operator from sharp thread ends, and prevent corrosion or fouling on exposed threads. We stock 98+ variants across the dome nut range.
