Suspension Anchors

Suspension anchors are specialised sleeve anchors for ceiling-mounted suspension of threaded rod or rigging. The anchor's internal thread accepts standard Allthread rod for hanging fixtures, HVAC ductwork, services and equipment beneath an overhead concrete slab.

Zinc Yellow Class 4 suspension sleeve anchors, 6mm body x 25mm length. Limited stock range for the most common suspension application; larger sizes available via Contact us.

GRADES AND MATERIALS

Zinc Yellow (Class 4): yellow chromate passivation over zinc plating - the BNA-standard masonry-fixing finish. Suited to general interior and sheltered exterior installation. For coastal, pool plant or fully-exposed exterior installation, specify stainless A4-70 G316 as special order via Contact us.

INSTALLATION

Drill the hole in the overhead substrate to the published diameter. Blow out dust. Insert the anchor and tighten with a setting tool or by threading a sacrificial Allthread rod and tightening to expand. Once set, thread the load Allthread rod into the anchor for suspension.

SIZE AND LOAD

Suited to light-to-medium overhead suspension loads. WLL per-SKU. For heavier overhead loads use the drop-in or wedge anchor ranges.
