Not sure what screw size you have or need?
Two ways to confirm before you order - whichever you already know.
1If you have a screw in hand

Measure across the outside of the thread - not the shank - to get the gauge (an 8g screw measures about 4.2mm). Screw gauges have a wider tolerance than bolts, so treat it as a close match rather than exact. Then measure the length for your head type.

Every product page carries a Screw Gauge and TPI chart for its range - every gauge links straight to the product. Self tappers carry a single TPI per gauge, so once you have the gauge you have the thread.

Pan & Button Head Self Tappers

335 pan and button head self-tapping screw variants in stainless A2-70, A4-70, zinc plated and black zinc. Gauges from 2g (2.2mm) to 14g (6.3mm), with Phillips, Post Torx, Eye Drive and One Way drives. Used wherever you need a raised-head self-tapper with broad pull-through resistance — sheet metal assembly, panel work, signage, automotive trim, electronics enclosures.

Materials and coatings

Stainless A2-70 G304 (136 variants) for general indoor and mild outdoor work. A4-70 G316 (69) for marine, coastal and treated-timber exposure. Hardened steel zinc plated (silver and black, 130 combined) for cost-effective interior fastening.

Sizes available

Gauges: 2g (2.20mm), 4g (2.90mm), 6g (3.50mm), 8g (4.20mm), 10g (4.80mm), 12g (5.50mm), 14g (6.30mm). Lengths: 6mm to 75mm depending on gauge.

Drive types

Phillips (PH1/PH2/PH3, 268 variants) for the standard range. Post (Pin) Torx (32), Eye Drive / Snake Eye (25) and One Way (10) for security-sensitive installations.

Standards

AB ANSI B18.6.4 / DIN 7982C / ISO 7050 for the standard Type AB profile; HEC and Sentinel manufacturer standards on the security-drive variants.
