Drop in Anchors
Drop-in anchors are flush-set internal-thread anchors used for ceiling-mounted fixtures and overhead loads. The anchor sits flush with the substrate surface; the operator expands the internal cone wedge with a drop-in setting tool; the matching threaded bolt or rod runs into the female thread. No projecting stud above the substrate face.

Zinc Yellow Class 4 drop-in anchors in M6 through M20 thread sizes. Smooth body design (no knurling on the OD) suits standard installation. 16 SKUs across the size range.
GRADES AND MATERIALS
Zinc Yellow (Class 4): yellow chromate passivation over zinc plating - the BNA-standard masonry-fixing finish. Suited to general interior and sheltered exterior installation. For coastal, pool plant or fully-exposed exterior installation, specify stainless A4-70 G316 as special order via Contact us.
INSTALLATION
Drill the hole to the published diameter (slightly larger than the anchor OD to allow insertion). Blow out dust. Drop the anchor into the hole. Insert the matching drop-in setting tool into the anchor and hammer 3-5 firm blows - the cone wedge expands until the setter step bottoms out at the calibrated depth. Remove the setter; thread the load fastener into the now-locked anchor.
SIZE AND LOAD
M6 = ~4kN WLL; M10 = ~10kN; M16 = ~22kN in 32MPa concrete. Each anchor size has its own specific setting tool - mismatched setter under- or over-expands the anchor.
