Wave Washers Cast Snap Hook
Cast snap hooks are quick-attach hooks with a lever-released safety gate. The gate is normally closed by spring pressure; the operator depresses the lever to open the gate, attaches to the anchor ring, and releases the lever to close. Used for fast attach / release in marine, livestock and outdoor rigging.

Stainless A4-70 G316 cast snap hooks in 50mm x 25mm, 70mm x 31mm and larger sizes - the two dimensions are overall length x throat opening.
GRADES AND MATERIALS
Stainless A4-70 G316 (marine grade): 700 MPa minimum tensile, 316-family austenitic stainless with added molybdenum (2-3%) for chloride-pitting resistance. The standard for direct saltwater exposure, ocean spray, chlorinated pool plant and food-grade processing. Largely non-magnetic - cold-formed sections may show slight residual magnetism from manufacture.
INSTALLATION AND USE
Depress the lever to open the gate. Hook over or onto the connecting hardware. Release the lever - the gate snaps closed under spring pressure. To release, depress the lever and lift away. Inspect the gate spring periodically; replace if the gate doesn't close fully or under positive spring force.
A NOTE ON GALLING
Stainless threads can gall under tension - apply a thin film of nickel-based anti-seize from the Anti-Seize range to the male thread before assembly. Tighten slowly, never with an impact driver.
SIZE AND WLL
Size by throat opening - the opening determines the size of attachment ring or bar that will fit. 25mm throat fits up to ~22mm bar; 31mm throat fits up to ~28mm. WLL per SKU typically 80-200kg for the stocked sizes.
