Dome Torx Screw Anchors

Dome Torx screw anchors have a decorative dome head with Torx T30 drive - the dome is for visible architectural installations where the standard hex flange head would visually break the surface. Same self-cutting concrete thread; same removability; same WLL as the hex flange screwbolt.

Also known as: Dome Head Screwbolt, Decorative Screwbolt, Torx T30 Screwbolt, Dome Anchor, Architectural Xbolt.

Galvanised Dome Torx Xbolt screwbolts in M6 size, 65mm through 100mm lengths. Galvanised finish for exterior architectural use.

GRADES AND MATERIALS

Galvanised (Class 3): heavier zinc plating for exterior structural masonry fixing. Longer outdoor life than Zinc Yellow but not marine-grade.

INSTALLATION

Drill the pilot hole. Blow out dust. Drive with a Torx T30 bit until the dome head seats firmly against the substrate. The Torx drive resists cam-out at higher torque values.

SIZE AND LOAD

M6 thread = ~5kN typical WLL in 32MPa concrete. Limited size range - for other sizes, see the Hex Flange Screw Anchors variant.
