Nylon Nail-In Anchor

Nylon nail-in anchors combine a nylon body with a zinc steel pin. The anchor body inserts through the substrate and into the masonry hole; the pin is hammer-driven through the body, expanding the body against the masonry. Faster install than a screwed plug; cheaper than metal pin anchors.

Also known as: Nail-In Plug, Nylon Pin Anchor, Mushroom Plug Anchor, Hammer Anchor.

Zinc pin nylon mushroom head nail-in anchors in 5mm, 6mm and 8mm body sizes, 25mm through 100mm lengths. 26 SKUs across the size range.

GRADES AND MATERIALS

Nylon body + zinc pin: the nylon body is inert and won't corrode in masonry; the zinc-plated steel pin is the load-bearing element. Suited to general interior and sheltered exterior fixing.

INSTALLATION

Drill the hole through the substrate into the masonry to the published diameter and depth. Push the anchor through. Hammer the head - the pin drives down through the nylon body, expanding the body against the masonry hole wall. Quick single-hammer-blow installation.

SIZE AND LOAD

5mm = ~0.5-1kN typical WLL; 8mm = ~2kN in 32MPa concrete. Light-to-medium duty - for structural load use screw anchors or wedge anchors.
