Not sure what screw size you have or need?
Two ways to confirm before you order - whichever you already know.
1If you have a screw in hand

Measure across the outside of the thread - not the shank - to get the gauge (an 8g screw measures about 4.2mm). Screw gauges have a wider tolerance than bolts, so treat it as a close match rather than exact. Then measure the length for your head type.

Every product page carries a Screw Gauge and TPI chart for its range - every gauge links straight to the product. Self tappers carry a single TPI per gauge, so once you have the gauge you have the thread.

Countersunk Head Self Tappers

328 countersunk head self-tapping screw variants. 82-degree conical head sits flush in a countersunk hole — the right choice for trim, cladding, casework, signage and any application where the head must not stand proud. Available across the same gauges (2g to 14g) and the same four material grades as our pan and button range.

Materials and coatings

Stainless A2-70 G304 (139), A4-70 G316 (66), hardened steel silver zinc and black zinc (123 combined).

Sizes available

Gauges: 2g (2.20mm) through 14g (6.30mm). Lengths: 6mm to 100mm.

Drive types

Phillips (257 variants), Post Torx (39), Eye Drive (22) and Post Hex (10).

Standards

AB ANSI B18.6.4 / DIN 7982C / ISO 7050; HEC and Sentinel on security drives.
