Left Hand Thread Allthread
8 left-hand thread metric coarse allthread variants. The thread spirals anti-clockwise — tightens by turning left, loosens by turning right. Used in turnbuckles, counter-rotating tensioners and machinery where standard right-hand thread would vibrate loose.
Materials and grades
Plain black uncoated mild steel across the range.
Sizes and lengths
M6, M8, M10, M12, M16, M20, M24, M42. Length: 1 metre (1000mm). Low-tensile Class 4.6.
Thread profile
Metric coarse left-hand thread. Pairs only with left-hand thread nuts — right-hand nuts will not fit. Mark the installation clearly so future maintenance doesn't strip the thread trying to loosen it the wrong way.
