Dome Peeled

Dome Peeled Pop Blind Rivets
Choose a peeled rivet when the back side of the joint is soft enough that an ordinary rivet might pull through. As it sets, the shell splits into four petals that fold back against the rear face, gripping timber, plastics, leather and thin laminates over a much wider footprint.
How this type works
The shell is engineered to split into four petals as the mandrel draws through. The petals create a much wider back-side footprint than a standard rivet — the right choice for soft substrates like timber and plastic where standard rivets would pull through.
Drill size
Match the drill to the rivet body diameter plus ~0.1mm clearance. 2.4mm rivet → 2.5mm drill (or 3/32"); 3.2mm → 3.3mm (1/8"); 4mm → 4.1mm (5/32"); 4.8mm → 4.9mm (3/16"); 6.4mm → 6.5mm (1/4").
