Purlin Flanged Bolts

Purlin flanged bolts are hex flange-head bolts used in structural roof and wall framing to fasten purlins and girts to rafters, columns and cleats. The integrated flange spreads the clamp load and removes the need for a separate washer at install time, which speeds up framing on site.
They are dimensioned and rated to AS1110 — the Australian standard for ISO metric precision hex bolts — and supplied in M12 and M16 sizes that match the standard hole patterns punched into Lysaght, Stratco and equivalent purlin/girt sections.
MATERIALS AND FINISHES
Zinc Silver Plated — Bright silver electroplate for internal-frame use.
Galvanised — Hot-dip galvanised for exposed external framing.
GRADES STOCKED
Class 8.8 High Tensile — The standard high-tensile structural grade.
Class 4.6 Low Tensile — Economical option for non-critical framing connections.
Sizes: M12 and M16 metric coarse.
Thread system: Metric Coarse.
Standard: AS1110.
