Tie Down Screw Anchors
Tie down screw anchors are the Allthread-coupler variant of the Xbolt screwbolt. The screwbolt has a female thread machined into its top instead of a head - threaded Allthread rod runs into the female thread, creating a continuous threaded path from the concrete to the load above. Used in tie-down, post-base and machinery-anchor applications.

Zinc Yellow Class 4 M12 tie down screwbolts, 100mm length. The female thread accepts standard M12 Allthread rod or M12 bolt extensions from above.
GRADES AND MATERIALS
Zinc Yellow (Class 4): yellow chromate passivation over zinc plating - the BNA-standard masonry-fixing finish. Suited to general interior and sheltered exterior installation. For coastal, pool plant or fully-exposed exterior installation, specify stainless A4-70 G316 as special order via Contact us.
INSTALLATION
Drill the pilot hole and blow out dust. Drive the screwbolt with a special socket that engages the body without contacting the female thread. Once installed, thread the downstream Allthread rod into the female thread - the engagement depth on the rod must match the published minimum.
SIZE AND LOAD
M12 thread = ~12kN typical WLL in 32MPa concrete. The downstream Allthread connection must be rated to the same or higher load - the chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
