Countersunk Sealed

Countersunk Sealed

Countersunk Sealed Pop Blind Rivets

Choose a sealed countersunk rivet when the joint has to do two jobs at once: keep water and air out, and finish level with the surface. The closed-end shell seals the joint while the countersunk head sits flush, which suits decks, hatches, tanks and exterior panels.

How this type works

The shell is closed at the back, so once the rivet is set the joint is permanently watertight and airtight. Used in fluid containers, marine fabrication, refrigeration and outdoor electronics enclosures.

Drill size

Match the drill to the rivet body diameter plus ~0.1mm clearance. 2.4mm rivet → 2.5mm drill (or 3/32"); 3.2mm → 3.3mm (1/8"); 4mm → 4.1mm (5/32"); 4.8mm → 4.9mm (3/16"); 6.4mm → 6.5mm (1/4").
