Countersunk Screw Anchors

Countersunk screw anchors are the flush-seat head form of the Xbolt screwbolt range. The head sits flush against the substrate surface for finishing-coat installation. Same self-cutting concrete thread and removability as the hex flange variant; In-Hex (5mm) drive instead of external hex.

Also known as: Countersunk Xbolt, CSK Screwbolt, Flush Screwbolt, Countersunk Concrete Screw, In-Hex Screwbolt.

Zinc Yellow Class 4 countersunk Xbolt screwbolt anchors, M6 through M12 thread, 50-150mm lengths. 5mm In-Hex drive.

GRADES AND MATERIALS

Zinc Yellow (Class 4): yellow chromate passivation over zinc plating - the BNA-standard masonry-fixing finish. Suited to general interior and sheltered exterior installation. For coastal, pool plant or fully-exposed exterior installation, specify stainless A4-70 G316 as special order via Contact us.

INSTALLATION

Drill the pilot hole and drill the countersink in the substrate. Blow out dust. Drive with a 5mm In-Hex bit until the head seats flush with the substrate surface. Don't over-drive - the head should sit flush, not below the surface.

SIZE AND LOAD

Same WLL as the hex flange variant - the head form doesn't affect load. M6 = ~5kN, M10 = ~12kN in 32MPa concrete. The 5mm In-Hex drive limits maximum torque to ~25Nm - for higher-torque sizes use the hex flange variant.
