Quick Change Roloc Disc

Quick-change Roloc discs are small surface-conditioning discs with a roll-on / roll-off fitting that lets the operator swap discs in seconds without tools. Used on cordless and air Roloc tools for spot work, weld cleanup, rust removal and detail finishing.

Also known as: Roloc Disc, Quick Change Disc, QC Disc, Surface Conditioning Disc, Type R Disc, 3M Roloc Compatible.

Klingspor QRC411 quick-change Roloc discs in 50mm and 75mm sizes. 36, 60 and 80 grit. Aluminium oxide grain on resin-coated cotton for the workhorse general-purpose surface conditioning combination.

GRIT AND GRAIN

QRC411 is Klingspor's standard aluminium oxide Roloc disc pattern - compatible with 3M Roloc Type R holders and most generic quick-change roll-on tools. Non-woven and bonded variants stocked for different surface-finish requirements - check per-SKU spec.

USAGE AND TECHNIQUE

Press the disc onto the holder and twist clockwise to lock; counter-clockwise twist releases. Run on a cordless or air Roloc tool at 18-20,000 RPM. Light pressure - the small disc heats fast under heavy hand pressure. Useful for spot weld cleanup, rust removal on tight surfaces, and chamfer / corner finishing where a larger disc can't access.

SAFETY AND RPM

Confirm disc max RPM matches the tool's no-load RPM. Discs are small but the tool runs at high RPM - eye protection mandatory. Replace the holder if the locking thread shows wear; a loose disc at 20,000 RPM is a projectile risk.
