Description
- Hollow Wall Anchors are a steel fastener used to secure fastening into hollow blocks, cavity wall and plaster boards up to 23mm thick and can be set using either a screw driver or a pistol grip anchro setting tool (recommended)
- Features / Benefits: Medium duty, * typical weight loads for each anchor
- upto 10kg for 4mm anchors
- upto 15kg for 5mm and 6mm anchors
- The clamping action provides a very strong anchor point spreading the fixture load by deforming to an umbrella shape behind the board and preventing pull-through when tightened, includes a low profile roundhead screw, zinc plated.
- Material / Coating: Zinc Plated is the most common fastener of plating due to its the low cost and shinny bright silver finish. A thin layer of zinc is applied by either electroplating or mechanically
- Fastener length: is generally measured from the point where the surface of the material will be when the fastener is installed to the end of the fastener. Thus, fasteners with heads that sit above the surface are measured from under the head to the end of the fastener, while fasteners that sit flush with the surface are measured from the top of the head to the end of the fastener
