Aust Post Letter Delivery - FREE

Our standard service for small orders (under $30.00 and under 500 grams) is sent via Australia Post Regular Letter Delivery with NO TRACKING details. Your order will be sent in a bubble envelope and usually delivered to your mailbox.

Orders between $30 - $40 will be sent WITH TRACKING .

Bulkier orders under $40.00 (usually Kits and Tools) and Smaller orders between $30.00 - $40.00 will be sent WITH TRACKING .

No matter where your located letter deliveries will / can take between 3 - 12 business days to deliver, some regional and remote areas may even take longer. See table above

Parcel Delivery (With Tracking) – FREE for orders over $40.00

Deliveries are quick and our best value for money option, orders are either sent with our preferred carriers with tracking details (Australia Post, Fastway Couriers and Couriers Please) or depending on your location you can choose your preferred carrier. 

You will have the option in the checkout to select either Signature Required or Authority to Leave. If you choose signature required and no one is home a calling card will be left for either collection or redelivery. If you give authority to leave, we suggest adding a note to advise where you want the parcel left eg. “Please leave at front door” or “behind the fence”.

Express Delivery Option

This is the best option to receive your order quicker than a standard delivery time frame. Estimated delivery times range from 1-4 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays), note that some regional and remote areas may take longer than this as heavy bulky items are sent by road, while smaller items (under 5kg) can be air freighted to the closest Capital City, then delivered by the standard road delivery system.

Smaller orders (under 5kg) will usually be sent by Australia Post Express Post. Orders 5kg – 20kg will be sent with either Startrack Express or TNT. We cannot send to PO Boxes with Startrack or TNT so a street addresses will need to be provided

For orders over 20kg, Express delivery is not provided.

Click & Collect

When placing your order there is a Click & Collect (Warehouse Pickup) option in the checkout. We do ask that you give our team at least 2 hours (during business hours) to pack your order for it to be ready for collection. We will contact you as soon as possible should there will be any delays fulfilling the order. If it is urgent, place it online and call us to arrange a time. Pickup times: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Orders over 50kg

Australia Post and our Couriers usually have maximum parcel weights, therefore most orders above 50kg will be shipping with a Courier/Freight company of our choice that we believe is best suited to your location.

Please Note - Couriers will not deliver to Post Office Boxes and Parcel Lockers

External Territories & Islands

Some External Territories and Island locations may not be serviced by standard or tracked delivery and an addition shipping charge may be incurred. If this is the case, we will contact you and advise you of any addition charge there may be.

Overseas Orders

At present we do not ship outside of Australia.

Direct Ship (Dropship)

From time to time we may ship our larger bulky orders directly from our suppliers, this helps keep our prices down. Sometimes with these shipments you may receive two or more deliveries, one from our warehouse and one from our supplier, if this is the case, we will contact you advising you of the multiple deliveries. We have found they can arrive at different times / days. If you have any concerns, please contact us.

Order Processing

Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd aim to pack and dispatch orders within one business day from when payment is finalized (we can usually pack most orders same day if payment is made before 1.00 PM Queensland time and the complete order is in stock), however we cannot always guarantee this and if there is an unavoidable delay, we will notify you.

Delays may be experienced during public holidays and peak periods. Please note that orders placed over the weekend or on public holidays will be packed and dispatched on the next business day, all orders are collected by our transport companies during normal business hours from Monday to Friday. Deliveries are not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.

Where is my item / order?

You will also receive an email from us when the order is dispatched and if the order has tracking, this information will be provided in that email. Click on the tracking link to see the updated status of your order.

If your order has not been delivered within the estimated delivery windows above (only count Monday - Friday and the first day starts the day after we dispatch your item), please contact us so that we can investigate this further for you. Prior to contacting us – have you checked with your neighbors and the carrier service your goods were sent with? Contact us regarding shipping queries - sales@boltandnut.com.au

We strongly suggest using a parcel service that is trackable and requires a signature on delivery. If the courier company has proof of delivery via GPS tracking or photos Bolt and Nut Australia will not be held liable for goods that are deemed lost, stolen or can not be found. 

Delivery Instructions

If the carrier is unable to deliver an order and no instructions have been provided the driver may leave a calling card if a signature is required otherwise they will leave the goods in either a safe place or where instructed. Whilst we print your instructions on the delivery label we can not guarantee that Instructions left for couriers will be adhered to, if you are concerned that they may not follow your instructions please contact us prior to placing your order.
We suggest following the tracking status of the order through the link we email out for all Tracked and Express orders as calling cards do go missing or can get mixed up with junk mail in letterboxes and by doing this you can ensure that delivery can occur quickly.
