Description
- Self Locking Push Nuts are a very cost effective option as the push nut provides a good balance between maximum holding strength and reasonable push on force. They are designed to be used on smooth, hard surfaces. Pushnuts can be applied with great speed, as pushing on (especially with an air hammer) and can be alot faster than running down nuts with a thread. These fasteners are especially suitable for products shipped in knock-down form

- Material / Coating: Black Oxide has a grey / blackish appearance that adds a mild layer of corrosion and abrasion resistance to the fastener. An appealing look when a bright shine is not desired. Due to the process, we do see some instances of inconsistency of the final appearance. Like any material, black oxide treated fasteners can rust in the right environments. It will depend on if the fastener is damaged or marred, the type of metal with the black oxide treatment and environmental conditions. Another benefit is it does not significantly change the dimensions of the fastener like other plating’s
