Description
- Alpha White Pointer Bi-Metal Cobalt Holesaws are new and improved heavy duty holesaws. Use a holesaw when you need to drill large diameter holes quickly and cleanly. Matched with an Arbor and pilot drill holesaws are equally adept at drilling through metal as they are at boring through wood
- Features / Benefits: Multiple ejection slots for rapid removal of thick and thin plugs (HSV40 and over). 4/6 variable tooth configuration reduces vabiration for a smooth, accurate cut. Unique multiple grinding technology for faster cutting and longer life. Bi-Metal construction with 8% cobalt welded teeth for extended life in industrial applications. International standard thread pattern accepts all common arbors
- Ideal for: Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron, Non-ferous metals, Wood and Plastic
- Sawing Tough Materials: To bore holes through tile, cement board, fiber-cement board and other tough, abrasive materials, use a hole saw that is rimmed with super-sharp carbide or diamond grits. These hole saws cost more than traditional bi-metal hole saws, but they cut smoother and last much longer
- Cutting Fluid: Whenever possible, use cutting oil to lubricate the holesaw when drilling metal. The oil serves to important purposes: First, it reduces friction, which keeps the holesaw cooler so it cuts better and last longer. Second, cutting oil helps flush metal chips out of the kerf, allowing the teeth to do their job. We recommend and sell Alpha CDT cutting fluid (Code ATL005)
