Once goods have been delivered to the buyer, or delivered in accordance with their instructions, the buyer assumes all risks and liabilities in relation to the installation and operation of the goods, in additional to all responsibilities regarding the safety and ownership rights of the goods. Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd recommends professional tradesmen be engaged at the buyer’s expense for the correct installation of all goods.

All products should be fully tested by the buyer to meet the buyer's requirements before installation. Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd will not be liable for any costs involved in the installation or removal of any goods for any reason including product fault.

Errors & Omissions

Price

In the event a product price is listed incorrectly due to typographical error, error in pricing information received from our vendors, or by computer malfunction, Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at an incorrect price, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and/or full payment received. Prices may be changed at any time and without notice.

Product

We only sell product made to Australian or International standards. Our product is sourced from several local suppliers, they source their products from many different suppliers overseas. Some of the issues we come across which we can’t control:

• Quantity in unopened suppliers’ boxes is short of what I ordered

• Head markings
• Knurls on socket product
• Thread & shank lengths – Especially for socket product
• Grades on the nut, often we will ship the higher grade, not a lower grade
• The finish looks different to the photograph or other product purchased
• Head diameter between brands, especially countersunk socket screws and some self drilling screws
• Washer’s tolerances are the widest and most inconsistent of all fasteners, washers are made to suit bolts and are not a precision product. Always check with us if you require an exact inside / outside diameter or thickness
• Brands may vary in the same shipment.

Bolt & Nut Australia endeavors to ensure all information is present and correct to assist the buyer with making an informed purchasing decision, but it the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that their purchases are fit for purpose and compatible with any relevant existing products. In all circumstances where a product is critical to a customer’s intended application, we encourage direct contact with Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd to ensure the product specifications on the website match the product on the shelf.

Order Fulfillment and Delivery

Discretion of Rejection

The buyer's receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify acceptance of an order, nor does it constitute confirmation of an offer to sell. Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right at any time after receipt of an order to decline that order for any reason. We may require additional verification or information before accepting any order. If verification of identity is not adequately provided, the order will be cancelled under suspect of fraud.

A legally binding contract is formed between Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd and the buyer only once the goods have been dispatched. Prior to dispatch, all goods remain the property of Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd.

Availability & Order Fulfillment

Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right, at any time after receipt of an order and without prior notice to the buyer, to supply less than the quantity ordered of any item in the event of unforeseen short supply. In the event of a short-supply, you will be contacted and any relevant funds will be reimbursed in accordance with any balance in credit left after part-fulfillment or cancellation.

Change of Address

Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address being entered on your order. Address confirmation is given on the Order Review page in the checkout section of the website. If this is not noticed until after your order is finalised, please contact us immediately. We will attempt to update any incorrect order details, however due to the fast turnaround of our warehouse, some orders cannot be adjusted. In the case that your order is processed and cannot be updated, please refer to our Returns page.

Order Cancellations

If notified before goods have been dispatched, Bolt and Nut Australia Pty Ltd can process order cancellations. If items have been shipped, we can not cancel or change your order. The return process will need to be initiated, please refer to our Returns page.

Order Processing

Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd aim to pack and dispatch orders within one business day from when payment is finalised (we can usually pack most orders same day if payment is made before 1.00pm Queensland time and the complete order is in stock), however we cannot always guarantee this and if there is an unavoidable delay we will notify you.

Delays may be experienced during public holidays and peak periods. Please note that orders placed over the weekend or on public holidays will be packed and dispatched on the next business day, all orders are collected by our transport companies during normal business hours from Monday to Friday. Deliveries are not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.

Delivery

All delivery dates provided on this website or verbally by a representative of Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd are approximate and should only be used as a guide. Delivery services for orders placed on this website, can be found on the delivery page of this website.

Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to ship goods by the most economical means available in accordance with the shipping method paid for by the buyer. This may include alternate carrier services or multiple deliveries.

If an order is shipped in separate consignments or multiple installments and a part of that order fails to be delivered, the buyer is not entitled to a cancellation of their purchasing contract. Lost or misdirected shipments will be replaced only after suitable time is given for Bolt & Nut Australia to complete an investigation with the carrier. Bolt & Nut Australia will not be liable for any claim of compensation due to the delayed delivery of an order or a redirection of an order for collection by one of our carriers.

If goods are returned to us by the carrier because they have been unable to effect delivery, either by an incorrect delivery address provided by you or after attempts have been made to contact you by either calling card, email or phone, or you refuse to accept delivery then we may charge an additional delivery fee to resend the order to effect delivery.

All orders placed on our website will receive an email confirmation when the goods are ready for dispatch. If the order has tracking this information will be available in this email where you can keep updated on the progress of your delivery.

Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd offers a service whereby the buyer can specify delivery instructions in the checkout, which may absolve the carrier service of all or part of their responsibility to secure delivery confirmation. Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd will not be liable for any order, or delivery of order, that is delivered in accordance with the buyer's delivery instructions. Circumvention of signature on delivery requirements will void any and all insurance cover.

If the carrier is unable to deliver an order and no instructions have been provided the driver may leave a calling card if a signature is required otherwise they will leave the goods in a safe place or where instructed. We suggest following the tracking status of the order through the link we email out for all Tracked and Express orders as calling cards do go missing or can get mixed up with junk mail in letterboxes and by doing this you can ensure that delivery can occur quickly.

Tax

Bolt & Nut Australia Pty Ltd is required by law to collect 10% goods and service tax (GST) on behalf of the Australian Taxation Office. All of the prices listed online for goods and services (including shipping) are inclusive of GST.
