Under-set, correctly set and over-set nutsert cross-sections

Round closed end rivet nuts have the same knurled round body as the open-end style but the bolt end is sealed, so the thread is blind on both sides once set.

WHEN TO CHOOSE IT

Choose closed end where the back of the panel is exposed to weather, splash or contamination, or where a sealed thread is wanted for hygiene or appearance. The sealed end also stops the bolt protruding through the back.

SIZES AND MATERIALS

9 stocked variants in G304 / G316 stainless, M4 to M10 - the corrosion-resistant grades suit the outdoor and wash-down jobs closed-end is usually chosen for.

Which tool sets it? Match the right setting tool to your size and material on the full Setting Capacity by Tool table in our nutsert installation guide.
