Under-set, correctly set and over-set nutsert cross-sections

Round open end rivet nuts (nutserts) have a cylindrical body, knurled for grip against spinning, with an open (through) end that accepts a longer bolt. They are the default choice across the rivet-nut range and our widest-stocked style.

WHEN TO CHOOSE IT

Choose round open end when you want a simple, strong blind thread in sheet, tube or extrusion and the bolt may need to pass right through. The knurled body resists rotation under normal load; step up to a hex or splined style for high-torque or soft materials.
