I require a Certificate of Conformity?

To provide certificates we first need to know what you are ordering and the qty's. Once we have that information we have to contact the supplier (s) to confirm if they have certificates available for that product. When we have the information we will reply advising which items we can provide certificates for and which we can't. 

I do need certificates, what do I do?
Add the items to your cart, go to the shopping cart page, there you can email the cart as a quote. Send us an email advising you require certificates and we will advise. 

Are certificates available for every item you sell?
Yes and No, the fastener industry has been quite slow in building a database of readily available certificates for the end user to access. It is changing, but slowly. Some of our major suppliers like Hobson Engineering now have a comprehensive database for most products which you can access with the Batch / Heat / Trace numbers found on the front of their packaging.

Are there certain products where certificates are available?
Yes, HSFG structural bolts, Plow bolts, alot of the Stainless Fasteners like G316, BUMAX and NEPTUNE, the whole socket product range, High Tensile Allthread Bolts Nuts and Washers, Silicone and Adhesives and Masonry products. 

I really need them urgently, is there a shortcut?
There are a fews of ways of speeding the process up

1. Order pack sizes, these can be seen on our product page.
2. The stock you are ordering is all from the one supplier.

Why is it hard to provide certificates for old stock?
We carry the most extensive range of high and low volume fasteners in Australia, it is now alot easier to provide certificates for high volume items, but the low volume items remain difficult as the product is old, alot of it has been on our shelves for over 10+ years and our suppliers shelves for 20+ years and suppliers didn't have the systems in place to provide certificates. There use to be a general rule of thumb and market acceptance that if it came in a Brighton Best, Hobson or Bremick packaging it was enough to be considered high quality product made to the revelvant standard.

Do you send them with your orders automatically?
No, you have to request prior to ordering. Depending on the stock, qty's ordered and supplier, it can take a few days to collate the information. 

Can you ship the order and then send me the certificates after?
Yes and No, we may need to know prior to you placing the order so we can request the certificates from the supplier as the Batch / Heat / Trace numbers are required to generate the certificates.

Should I be concerned with the quality of the product if you can not provide a certificate:
No, Bolt and Nut Australia only sources product from proven suppliers who we have dealt with for over 35 years becuase their products have consistency meet or exceeded industry standards.
